Shamanism Introduction Workshop
This is a two day introductory workshop weekend dealing with the basic tenets and principles of shamanic practice. We explore the inner worlds of the shaman in guided meditation journeying with drum and song to meet various guides, animal helpers and spirit teachers.
People feel called to look into the shamanic path for many reasons. It is deeply spiritual path connecting with the old traditions, the land and the ancestors. These traditions are reshaped and revitalized by those of us who, in each succeeding generation, choose to work with them. They bring great healing, peace and understanding to our ever changing world.
Those who attend this workshop come because they are just meant to be here, and I facilitate this space for them to connect with their guides and spirit teachers, because that is what I've been asked by spirit to do.
Shamanic practice reconnects us profoundly with our unique innate heritage, reawakening for us the deepest ancestral memories within ourselves.
We all have different talents and natural abilities, different ancestors and lineage, different ways of relating to the world. Each individual's contract and relationship with spirit and animal and land will reflect this. Shamanic growth and training is intimately concerned with exploring, celebrating and exploiting our 'individual' unique difference. To be genuinely open and of service to others, we must first learn, know and celebrate our own heart.
Much of what we experience here will be unique. In fact, the very 'personalized' nature of such experiences should indicate to us all the stronger how firmly we are connected to our own path - and not merely imitating the practices nor seeking to replicate the experiences of others.

Shamanic land work - Spirits of the Land
This weekend program is specifically devoted to exploring and strengthening our connections with land and place. The program includes dialogue with the land itself and various Irish traditional ways of interacting with spirit in place. Exploring land memory and the interplay between humankind in the landscape, we look into our individual relationship with the land, the unique way each of us is intimately connected in and moving with the web of all nature. Throughout the weekend there will be many opportunities to gain insight into various ways of healing with plants and nature's remedies
When a place touches our heart there is a knowing, an empathy, a recognition, between something deep in it and something deep in us. So often people seem to 'find' such places by pure accident. They happen upon them perhaps on the way to somewhere else. It is my own experience that at the deeper more subtle levels, place may often have the final say in choosing the people who live there, and not the other way round.
Deep loving relationships can develop between people and a place, in the weaving of understanding and depth of empathy that grows between them.
'Feelings' of place can be far stronger and even more complicated than any individual human emotion. Indeed all our personal emotional capabilities and expression may be in truth, but small reflections of the awesome powers of the land.

Shamanic healing Techniques
Shamanic perspectives on healing. A weekend program explores the basic
principles and tenets of shamanic healing. The emphasis throughout is on the
guiding principles which inform healing work. Various different healing
techniques are explored in relation to these principles and the subjects of self
healing, self protection, service to others and motives are also covered.
Sacred site Tours
We offer guided tours to local sacred sites. Every place on the earth is sacred. Here in
this area of Ireland, there are many special beautiful ancient sites, each one
different, each one unique, and many of them hidden away from the regular
'site tour trail'.
We never do rituals or workings at such places, we go there simply to be with
them, to spend time between the worlds in their time, to listen openly,
allowing each place and it's spirits to touch us with their profound wisdom and
experience.
Pictures of some of the more 'well known' sites can be found throughout this
web site while others remain more private, known only to those who venture
to visit them.
Each tour date and itinerary is planned on an individual basis to suit those

One - to - one Shamanic Training apprenticeship
This is a long term training program in shamanism and shamanic practice
undertaken as a mutual partnership between teacher and student.
Essentially, people who wish to choose apprenticeship on their shamanic path, take considerable time in finding their teacher and then approach them privately.
My main reason in mentioning it here is to heartily encourage other practitioners to consider teaching in this most 'traditional' way.
Obviously, places are limited in my own one-to-one program. Each request is dealt with on an individual basis.
